Account Director, Online Advertising Sales / Reach Extension, Technology Solutions Group (NY, LA, SFO)
Description:
Collective's Technology Solutions Group licenses ad management technology and offers online reach extension to online publishers and ad networks seeking to improve and extend their online advertising capabilities. We are currently looking for an experienced salesperson to focus on selling reach extension to both existing and prospective technology customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with Technology Solutions sales team to sell online advertising to online publishers and ad networks. Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed.
- Proactively target existing technology solutions customers, prospective technology solutions customers, and other potential ad network and publisher customers.
- Build strong relationships with publishers, ad networks, and other customers to ensure long-term success
- Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
- Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in industry events and conferences
- Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce.com
Requirements:
- Strong understanding on online advertising industry from either ad sales or media buying perspective
- Previous experience with leading online advertising networks and/or portals a plus
- Intelligent, outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Willing to travel consistently to build/grow advertiser relationships
- Active in industry trade and networking events
- Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
- Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
- Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing campaign performance
- Publisher and ad network contacts at both senior and junior levels a plus
- Bachelor's degree for accredited university
