Account Executive, Sales (NY, SF, LA, CH)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and work through the stages of the sales cycle to close new account business. Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with agencies and advertisers to ensure long-term success
  • Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
  • Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Participate in industry events and conferences
  • Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce.com

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding on online advertising industry from either ad sales or media buying perspective
  • Previous experience with leading online advertising networks and/or portals a plus
  • Intelligent, outgoing individual with interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Willing to travel consistently to build/grow agency and advertiser relationships
  • Active in industry trade and networking events
  • Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
  • Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing sales performance
  • Direct and agency contacts at both senior and junior levels a plus
  • Bachelor's degree for accredited university
