Account Executive, Sales (NY, SF, LA, CH)
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and work through the stages of the sales cycle to close new account business. Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed.
- Build strong relationships with agencies and advertisers to ensure long-term success
- Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
- Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in industry events and conferences
- Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce.com
Requirements:
- Strong understanding on online advertising industry from either ad sales or media buying perspective
- Previous experience with leading online advertising networks and/or portals a plus
- Intelligent, outgoing individual with interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Willing to travel consistently to build/grow agency and advertiser relationships
- Active in industry trade and networking events
- Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
- Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
- Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing sales performance
- Direct and agency contacts at both senior and junior levels a plus
- Bachelor's degree for accredited university
