Director of Inside Sales (NY)

Responsibilities:
- Manage, recruit, train, and motivate the inside sales team to both meet and exceed sales goals
- Manage all inside sales opportunities, qualify prospects, and work through the stages of the sales cycle to close new account business
- Build strong direct relationships with advertisers to ensure long-term success
- Oversee programs to manage all new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations. Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results
- Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
- Participate in industry events and conferences
- Track and manage all inside sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce.com
- Act as mentor and coach to sales representatives
Requirements:
- Strong understanding on online advertising industry from either ad sales or media buying perspective
- Previous experience with leading online advertising networks and/or portals a plus
- Intelligent, outgoing individual with interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Active in industry trade and networking events
- Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com a plus
- Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
- Excellent analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing sales performance
- Direct advertiser contacts at both senior and junior levels a plus
- 2+ year’s sales management experience
- Telesales experience, preferably in media sector
- Excellent negotiation skills
