PERSONIFI RELEASES NEXT GENERATION SEMANTIC AUDIENCE TARGETING PLATFORM

Personifi's New Audience Manager Gives Online Publishers and Networks Increased Flexibility to Define and Target Audience Segments

New York, NY – September 16, 2008 – Personifi, recognized as one of the most advanced ad targeting solutions for online publishers, ad networks and advertisers, today launched the next generation of its content classification and audience targeting platform.

Through a new web application called Audience Manager, Personifi enables publishers and networks to easily create personalized contextual and behavioral audience segments to meet the needs of individual advertising campaigns – with the goal of increasing advertising yield for all stakeholders.

Using Audience Manager, Personifi users may group audience categories together, add new categories and adjust keyword associations – allowing users to target the precise audience segments needed to deliver the combination of reach and effectiveness demanded by advertisers.

In addition, keywords in Audience Manager can be given either positive or negative weightings so that ads are not shown within inappropriate content. For example, an airline might add keywords like "low-fares" or "island vacations" to a number of travel-related audience categories – while excluding potentially negative keyword associations like "hurricane" or "crash."

Personifi's targeting solutions are based on proprietary semantic technology that intelligently evaluates all of the content on a Web page to correctly determine its meaning and create more accurate contextual and behavioral audience segments. Customers gain additional control and flexibility, allowing them to more intuitively categorize page content into any contextual and behavioral audience taxonomy.
